Disappearing Posts

I posted something in Cars You Didn't Know Existed yesterday. I knkw it oosted because I went into the thread again a little later and my post was still there. This mornng it's gone.

Probably unrelated, but I saw a post by a new (returning) user this morning and now that and its replies (and the user) have vanished.

As I say, probably coincidental. Or I'm losing my marbles.

Hopefully returning users (under new name's) are being identified and deleted, makes a mockery of being banned.

I can't think of any reason why this particular user would have been banned.

We had a strange quirk like this recently with another member where the post was there, but it was invisible depending on how many posts per page you have your forum preferences set to. Would you mind changing that in your preferences to see if the post is still there please?

There's no record on your profile of a post being deleted.

I changed from 40 to 80, and it's not there.

It's happened again. Changing page length doesn't help.

I've checked your account and you've had no posts deleted. Can you try and help us recreate the issue please so we can investigate? Can you provide more information on where you've posted and what day/time, where your posts have disappeared?

I checked this latest reported thread and as Ben said with the earlier missing posts, your profile doesn’t show any deleted posts and the posting record for that thread doesn’t show any of your posts as being deleted.
Seems odd.
