I was pleasantly surprised at how it was mainly spun towards putting the negatives against reasoned logic as to why your fears are probably able to be overcome.

We need to stop showing journalists on TV trying to break their charging virginity.

On the ecotricity point it also looked like he used type 2 and not CCS and I think it only worked because it was in free vend. Still, came across as a small victory.

I have an elderly friend who when her husband passed away had to be shown how to use a petrol station. 75 years old and all her life her husband had filled the car, in fairness if she’d passed first, someone would need to show him how to use a kettle and washing machine. Too many pumps of different colours, how do you pay, do you go in the shop first? It’s no different really until you’ve done it a few times.

I only watched a few minutes of it - but that cable channel which goes from the pavement to the car seemed like an interesting idea:

I guess you'd need an assigned parking space outside your house for it to be a viable solution for the masses though scratchchin

I can see a lot of the challengers the presenter had were because he was very new to EV driving but he seemed to be getting the hang of it and understanding why they are important. They are our future and every will have to change to electric cars in the not too distant future.

I agree with the need for a comprehensive wide spread installation of car chargers across the country. There also needs to be more support for people that don’t have driveways.
