Anyone Renovo'd Their Hood???

Hiya
Just trying to see if anyone has used this and if so what did you think and what were the results like? I have a Navy hood that is faded and could do with a spruce up, but not sure what to use, as have seen some 'treated' hoods and the material looked and felt less supple than usual????

yeah loads of times and it works great....be very careful not to get it on the leather, bodywork or back window..if you do, get it off before it dries..otherwise a great product...recommended. I tend to do the roof panel on the work bench and then mask up the back window and immediate bodywork and paint CAREFULLY

Did mine the other day, looks smarter but was a bit streaky. However that was more to my brushmanship than anything else. I did have heart failure at first though as it goes on and turns very light blue which on my dark blue hood looked rather odd! It drys to a dark blue though.

Not used the blue, but have used the black with great results.It is scary looking when first applied, but dries off to a good finish that does not look 'painted' at all. Recommended.

Word of warning though, if you have a light inside fabric colour of the mohair on the rear section,don't over wet the stitching around the velcro flaps or the rear window,if the stich sealing and proofing isn't 100% the dye will wick through and stain the underside, which will NOT come out.

Was going to do mine this weekend - but the cleaner brought the hood up so well I didn't need to colour it!
