After assuming I'd never get a call back from the AD I registered an interest with, even after spending £3k on another brand when registering....
Got a call today offering me one of my watches of interest. A Sea Dweller Anniversary/"43" 126600
Almost fell off my chair after the "you're looking at years waiting"
Annoyingly just after the price increase, but feels like an opportunity too good to pass up on.
Plan to keep the watch, not intending to flip and feels like a lost opportunity not to go for it.
Have been stalking the forums for a while and the 1,000,000 "Has the Rolex bubble burst" thread.
Anything I need to be aware of before I pull the trigger and buy tomorrow?
Yeah stop saying got the call and pulling the trigger for a start!!!Got a call today offering me one of my watches of interest. A Sea Dweller Anniversary/"43" 126600

Got a call a few years ago about a Pepsi I’d enquired about , the very next day after the price increase, what a remarkable coincidence I thought , I wasn’t annoyed in the slightest I just accepted I’d been played in the little games AD play.Got a call today offering me one of my watches of interest. You’ve just confirmed they’re still playing them.
When you go in to buy it today , pass your card over , say thanks very much and walk out , don’t fall for the buying experience s

It's a lovely watch, I prefer it to a sub. Perfect watch for those of us with proper manly wrists

Bring ID, check the watch serial number (engraved by 6pm marker) versus the warranty card, ask about creating your personal profile/personal bio to support future purchases and list preference for next 3 watches.
You won’t need ID. I asked if they had a spare travel/service pouch that I could have - which they didn’t. But, they brought out a boxed toiletry bag which was nice but not my thing, so I put it up for sale on a watch forum I used. It sold for a tidy sum in minutes.
Anyway, Congratulations. Have a drink on them and enjoy the watch!

For those that are more interested in the vernacular of a harmless post. I hope your day brightens up. Have a great life.
You would do well to listen, because the phrases are used to identify wallys. A little harsh when you are excited, but it needs to be nipped in the bud.Simo_UK said:
For the helpful and interested. Thanks again for your help, really appreciate it and some useful guidance.

For the disapproving and disingenuous. Now I've pulled the trigger I'm off to give this piece some serious wrist time and wear it in good health.
Enjoy your weekends and say hi to your Moms from me!
Excellent, well done you. As others have said albeit sometimes jokingly wear and enjoy it. Picture as requested;
