I'm sure I missing something here, but should I use on a waxed car, after a wash, to let me top up the wax?

A normal wash using say TBH Touchless, and then Autowash is perfectly fine, but being in a hard water area leaves the car a bit dull. I typically use Megs ultimate detailer which gets rid of any post ash residue and leave the car looking great.
However, that detailer, being water repellent probably isnt the best thing to use if I want to top the wax up. So, what do I use instead? Is that what Auto QD is supposed to be for?

If it’s Bilt hamber your talking about then the quick detailer is ideal for this.
Most quick detailers can be used as a drying aid and add a little bit of extra protection for a week or two, not sure about Bilt Hamber though.

any quick detailer or spray sealant

have a look at the turtle wax stuff , yeah i know its not the first brand you think of but theyre really do some good stuff now , either just spray on a dry car or they do one where you can spray on the wet car and rinse it off , lasts forever and is only a few mins extra work
