Just a tiny selection from the huge number of vehicles that turned up to the Wheels Day meet at Aldershot, Good Friday.
We took Archie, our '64 flat screen Chevyvan. Had a cracking run and he didn't miss a beat over the near two hundred miles (tho' he did slurp a few quid of fuel). We did lose our brakes on the journey home, which made for a fairly fraught last fifty or sixty miles, but he's been forgiven. What more can you realistically expect from a sixty year old van that's been neglected on the drive all winter?
Fantastic turn out, no doubt the sunshine helped... 'twas superb weather and the sun made the Metalflake sparkle. Trophy winners included a rough looking, Mk1 Cortina with a surprise under the bonnet, a dream of a '32 Ford and a completely standard Farina Wolseley.
Despite all the exotics, my heart went out to a lovely salmon AMC Hornet that I very nearly bought about two years back - I could see myself painting it red and leaping rivers whilst chasing Scaramanga.
Other delights not pictured, but in attendance, were a Subaru 360, Fiat 130, Innocenti "Mini", South African built Brazilian Puma, Mustangs of all generations, Corvettes, loads of go faster old Fords, twin cam Minis, V8 Morris Minors and a whole host of interesting classics... And some bloody nice bikes too...
Just a few, as it takes an age to upload...

A few from me....
Andy Carter's fearsome new Anglia build

A minter of a RS Mexico

A pair of Cuda's, both 440+6 with 4-speeds

South African Perana V8 Granada

Lovely '58 Fairlane

Don't see many Woody's at shows here

Nice HS Chevette, with a proper set of carbs fitted.

Consul Capri in full Lotus-Cortina spec.

And the nicest of the many '32 Fords there
