I know subs and small don’t really go together well, but I’m desperately needing one which will fit under a kitchen kickboard. Length or depth no problem but obviously height is. Budget under £200.

Any recommendations? Or am I best off not bothering?

Thanks for any advice chaps.

BK Audio subs are superb for the money. Well built, great cabinet and punchy sound. I have 2 x 10” and they pack a punch for the money they cost.

Not sure whether or not there is space for one of these https://www.bax-shop.co.uk/studio-subwoofer/fostex...

Costs far less than the Monitor Audio but goes just as deep and they have a very good reputation for performance ( I've never seen a user review give less than 4 stars out of five, many give the full five. )

If you look at the reviews section in the link, some have paired the Fostex with studio monitors ( from M Audio, Presonus and even Genelecs ). They rate the little Fostex very highly say it is more than capable of keeping up.

Anyway, food for thought. Hope you find something that works for you thumbup

This, they manufacture for various HiFi brands, but also sell their own range which is great - look here

Have a look here instead, it's their ebay page and cheaper than their site - Gemini II is the smallest version.

Agreed. They have been around for donkeys years too, so well established with a good pedigree.

That's what I did, but I wonder if you can get the Gemini for £200.
