What car is hiding beneath the cover?

Walking the dog I passed a house in my village where I knew there to be a mystery car. Noting the car that had been sat there for several weeks covered over. I decided to post a guess the car thread. So just for a bit of amusement guess the make & model.

My instant thought was Porsche 944 but, as above, could well be a 924 too.

I’m going for guards red 924. If it were a 944 it would have a less shonky cover.

Maserati Bora but probably too rare to be possible.

Are we all agreed it’s a 924 derivative? It may be the way the car cover is hanging but there seems to be a crease in the leading edge of the bonnet, which the 924 lacks, possibly an Alpine 310?

My first thought was 944 but looking a bit closer there's a bit of Integra DC2 at the front but the edges on the top of the front guard and bumper seem slightly too sharp.
