ProCook Easter "sale"
Discussion
Have to ay I bought a set of their pans 2 years ago now and they're still in fantastic condition.
Had a set of knives for years - they were by no means top of the range ones from Pro Cook - but they're still pretty good.
They sharpen up really well - don't seem to stay sharp for long though.

I got mine today and they seem pretty decent, certainly got some weight to them which is promising as I need heavy based pans to get a low simmer on my hob. However, I also spent half an hour looking at my "old" John Lewis pans and having spent an hour going at them with brillo pads et all they look near new again! Only the milk pan has a slightly warped base so that can go to the tip but the others will go in the garage with my big pansHad a set of knives for years - they were by no means top of the range ones from Pro Cook - but they're still pretty good.

As for knives, if they sharpen easily but blunt quickly its the hardness of the steel (or lack of), just means you need to maintain them more often and be aware that you can alter the curvature of the blade if you are overly enthusiastic.

So much weight to it, and i'm looking forward to using the cast-iron griddle for some steaks!
We have an earlier version of their cast iron griddle and it's excellent — we use it over 2 gas burners on the hob or as a griddle plate on the BBQ. We haven't eaten steak in a restaurant since we bought because we can now get such good results at home

We bought a set of knives a few months ago, and tbh, they are utter crap, but, they were cheap and do the job until we can afford something a bit more decent
Surprised to hear that, I use their cheapest cook's knife (£15) and it's absolutely fine.I can't have nice things due to the missus.
Think I've also missed the boat as despite clear instruction in my absence the missus washed up my wok then threw it out when it inevitably rusted.
