Hi All,

What do people recommend for an outdoor cover for cerbs? I need to protect my baby from some vandals who seem to be taking an interest in my toys frown

Thanks in advancesmile

Stormforce covers are pretty heavy duty.

If you have space, perhaps consider a carcoon or a tent garage.

I either had the stormforce or the monsoon on my old cerb.

One was breathable but seemed to let moisture through when it wasn't meant to, so I went for the non breathable one with vents. Can't remember which was which.

The front and rear are elasticated and there are straps that go under the car. Keep them tight to prevent any flapping around and you should avoid any swirling/damage to the paint work. Or at least as much as you can.

I don't remember any paintwork damage tbh.

I do remember one time someone tried to lift the cover off the rear once but didn't get far as the cover was strapped and padlocked.

I've used the Stormforce covers over the years,

https://www.stormcarcovers.co.uk/products/tvr-car-...

but found they would only last about 2 years before UV destroyed the outer layer. I got fed up spending £160 every couple of years so the last one I bought was the Apollo from Cover-Zone

https://www.cover-zone.com/products/search-results...

Not cheap, but while the fabric has bleached from black to grey it shows no sign of degradation. That was 4 years ago. It's much higher quality and softer on the paint work.

As much as I'd strongly suggest a club hammer or broadsword as it's no less than vandals deserve its likely to come with certain legal difficulties. Therefore I'd suggest a Carcoon to avoid issues with putting covers on a wet car, or prolonged dampess causing the paint to blister.
