Banned from the Politics forum

It seems that I have been banned from the politics forum, despite being a member for some considerable time.
The reason being "As a result, we only allow members to posts here who have been a member on PistonHeads for a minimum of a year and posted at least 1,000 times in our motoring forums, so that they're well used to our rules and how our forums operate.
It seems that some unwelcome non petrolheads have infiltrated and are taking over the politics forum? I get it, but a minimum of 100o posts on car based threads. Really? Do they only want people who live on their keyboards? I have no idea how may times I've posted and I don't know how to find out, but I doubt it's anywhere near a 1000. It doesn't mean I'm not here for predominantly motoring discussions. Activity on the Politics forum, at least on my part, is frequent at the moment, I would guess , because so much is going on, including Ukraine, cost of living crisis etc. There's a lot of information on there about Ukraine from some seemingly knowledgeable people. Come on PH, give us a break

Considering the number of people who joined during the start of lockdown, all of who, appear to have a personal mission to start as many arguments as they can each day, I find your own situation slightly ironic. Some of them have huge post counts to match their inflated egos.
