Speakers.....

Hi,

Has anyone fitted 13cm speakers into the doors of an S? I know the original 12cm versions seem to be discontinued. Do you have to cut much of the door panel away?

Need some tunes for the 8 hour drive down to SCH3! :driving:

I am pretty sure the ones I fitted are 13cm, just a case of cutting a slghtly larger hole, IIRC there is plenty of room around that area.

If its not done by SCH time then you can have a look at mine.

I have recently fitted a set of top notch JBL speakers font and back, i think they are 12" as i did not have to do any cutting, not cheap at over £100 a set but they sound great and look good.
I have a pic so if i figure out how to post i will

12" james??? Surley you have the uncommon 'Man - Size' issues ! Don't you mean 12cm? at the front! or have you got rid of the doors!

oops, my excuse is i'm used to my girlfriends size estimates lol, yeah I think 12 CM!! but not measured
