I'm trying to find details of an independent or similar who has the ability to code retrofits into a 958 cayenne, most likely with PIWIS I would imagine.
There seems to be a real lack of coders out there compared to my BMW days.
Happy to travel for the right service.

Soft options like increasing number of indicator flashes on one-touch; changing delay timers and alarm settings are possible using the PIWIS tester - comfort closure via remote, that sort of thing.

Most options require extensive wiring or component changes; depending on the options you want. Cheapest is probably cruise control - though not many were specced without it; unlike sports cars that seem to rarely have it from new a few years ago.

Worth noting that a lot of functionality is only possible via entry of an enabling code - derived from the VIN and provided by Porsche - you can fit the hardware but if it won't talk it is redundant.

Thanks for this, I'm initially looking at retrofitting the retractable tow bar but eventually I want to do the auto dimming rear view mirror, heated rear seats and reverse camera.

I had the non-retractable towbar fitted by an Indie garage in and they did a good job. This did require wiring & coding but not the 'live coding' ability required to do keys etc.

I eventually had to find another Indie who could cover such things in order to replace the BCM (for an unrelated reason). These garages are both in London/SE area.

I guess any competent Indie Porsche specialist could fit & code the towbar, and probably the other changes you mention.

I'm having no luck finding anyone closer, could you possibly pass on the details of your independent who was able to do the coding please?
