Just got sent a marketing mail by CW about their new release - C65 Aquitaine. Have to say I really like it, their first release for a while that has got me to actually click to find out more. Not cheap, of course, but their watches haven't been 'cheap' for a while now.

I particularly like the sand face and blue bezel combo, with the tan strap it just seems 'right' somehow.

Logo change is a good move.

The rest of it doesn't do much for me.

I think I'm just being a stupid brand snob, but I just can't warm to Christopher ward watches. Or maybe it's because it's my first name, and I don't like it when I hear people use the full version, rather than Chris??

Think I'd go for an oris or longines. Or sinn.. or stowa...

I’m one of those that have been moaning about the logo for a long time as I didn’t like the Chris ward text.

However I really like this, very tempted to get one.

Have you seen the Spinnakers on the other thread? I think it's a better execution of this look.

I haven’t, if you don’t mind which thread are they in?

Is that the fourth or fifth logo change? And I can’t see this one lasting.

Looks decent enough.

I think the missed a trick by not using the Sellita SW300 movement and making the case slimmer. 11mm would have been nice. Heck, even Glycine can make the Combat Sub with an SW200 10.6mm thick, although that has a flat sapphire crystal.

(I am a bit obsessive about slim-cased dive watches).
