Quick question, bought a used Focus in Nov, AC wasn’t working, so it was fixed before purchase, probably re gassed it.

All worked fine, not that I use it much. Tried it today and it seems the AC only works on the passenger side, not the drivers side. I can increase the heat on the drivers side but can’t get AC.

Any ideas?

I'm assuming it's out of manufacturers warranty so I'd take it to a specialist who will do a pressure test before regassing. Sounds like it has a leak and just had a Halfords style bodge fix previously by refilling it out of a can, which as you've now discovered only temporarily fixed the symptoms.

If you get a clicking sound from under the dash when you move the heater vent control it's possibly a blend door actuator issue.
The Focus is known for this problem.

Fixed by Ford dealer before purchase.

There aren't 2 separate A/C systems for driver/passenger, if it had lost charge it wouldn't work at all.
