yet another give me an idea for a car thread...
Discussion
Due to a change in circumstances we sort of find ourselves with a 'spare' car which has got us thinking about consolidating our mini 'fleet'. Currently this stands at:
Dodge Challenger
Mercedes SLC
Skoda Superb
The ideas are:
1 - possibly give the SLC back (though Mrs DG loves it) and use the Skoda as the workhorse
2 - give the SLC back sell the Skoda and get a GLC (Mrs DG loved her old one)
3 - chuck in the Skoda and Challenger for a Dodge Charger (for my V8 fun and family duties)
4 - get a smaller family car (Puma) for the SLC and Superb
4 seems nice but Puma's seem to be bloody expensive for quite a small car
3 holds a degree of appeal - however Chargers in the right spec are not cheap (and I do sooooo like my Challenger!)
2 seems to be quite sensible, but if you're looking at a GLC type wagon might a Kodiaq/F-pace/XC60/KIA/whatever be a better bet (Kia/Hyundai especially giving a great warranty for peace of mind)
1 is certainly the most sensible, but also the most boring/least fun
let's have some thoughts - I suspect that in the end we'll end up keeping all 3 for another year, but it's good to have ideas...
