Hello, I am in London. in 2016 a close friend passed away. I agreed to look after his Porsche 911, (996 built around 1998) until his son could afford the insurance! I turned it over every so often but last year I removed the battery to re-charge it. We then ran the engine for a while and after tucked it all away again...... and I think I disconnected the battery but left the front hood open. Well, it's since been shut tight. No power comes on when connected via jump leads to a running engine so my guess is it needs the battery...... so how do I open the front hood? The fuse box does not have an icon from the front hood just all the fuses. Any thoughts anyone?
