Michelham Priory near Brighton. Has guest rooms, and its a bloody scary place in general.

We filmed there a few years ago, coincidentally we were filming some tennis weekend thing for The Well Being channel, got a personal spooky tour of the building from the fella who ran the place. The cameraman was friends with Yvette Fielding at the time, and thats pretty much how 'Most Haunted' came about.
The children's room is very scary, quite ominous and not a nice place to be in. I'm getting goosepimples just thinking about it right now.

Don't believe in 'em myself but, I did watch a programme on TV a while ago about a road in Yorkshire that was being built.........Stockton by-pass? or something like that. Someone here will know it.
Anyhow, two policemen in their car checking on the road building equipment there were "visited" by a presence that unnerved them both considerably. Enough for them to appear in the programme, take the flack from their mates, and sideways glances from their superiors.
Lot's of other people it seems have seen "a monk" wandering by the roadside at night.........................

Try a wander around Berry Pomeroy Castle at night, preferably with some moonlight. I haven't ever seen anything there myself, but know a few people who now refuse to go back, having seen or heard some weird stuff going on...
Done it several times, once on my own. Went inside the grounds as well. Havent seen anything yet...

That would be the Stocksbridge bypass A616 near Sheffield, I've heard all the stories, but AFAIK it's only haunted by SPECS, and some particularly badly designed junctions.
Local to us ghost is mamhead house, formerly known as Dawlish college. I rewired it yonks ago, and frequently worked late getting a bit of overtime. There are a lot of stories surrounding the place, and I for one can vouch for how "odd" the place feels. I did see "something" while I was there, it's a long story, but as we were working downstairs inside the locked building, we frequently heard footsteps on the floors above us. I've never been the scared bunny type of person, but that place just felt "odd".
Trouble is, it's now owned privately, and run as office suites, but there might be a way of organising a night there. If it was some sort of charity affair, I could bring several to the party.

Chim_Knee and I stayed at the Rose and Crown hotel in Salisbury a few years ago and in the early hours of the morning he awoke to ask me who the old man was standing in our doorway.......
I spent the rest of the night wide eyed and petrified whilst he snored contently next to me.....bl**dy git.
Anyway, I have heard rumours before that the hotel is haunted....so might be worth a visit.
