sounds awesome! i'm busy on the 27th but free on the 28th so i'll come down!

any links as to how much/where rockingham is ()/when it starts?

edit: obviously bar severe surgery being required while it's in the dealer at the moment i'll be there in the G33!

can we run up the strip or is it a kick tyres event?

Hi minmax,
Its a race weekend , there are two rounds of the G20cup and two rounds of the Ginetta juniour races. Not sure whether the GOC are supporting this and putting on a bbq etc, but if they aren't they should be... Does anyone know?

Lots of racing on over the weekend, whether permitting it should be a good day out. Maybe you could give me my inaugural spin in a '33? ( still a g33 virgin )
Rockingham is just off the M1 near northampton. It's the circuit which was built for Indy car racing and is a fantastic place.

The weekend is built around celebration of the 100th Ginetta series race (which happened this year).

Martin is particularly keen to get as many cars as possible there, so there will be some kind of BBQ etc.

Gutted that I'm in Germany so can't race

just look me out before the food starts going (obscenely loud exhaust, metallic burgundy, driver dressed like a tramp) and i'll scare the crap out of you with pleasure

Yep, I shall be there racing in my G20!

Can't wait!

P.S. I think the tickets are £12.50.

He isn't joking either - I will never forget the trip to Leeds on the M1 in the dark! That was pure class
Hope the car gets back to full health soon mate and you can get out in it!!
