My 2018 CP is due a service in the next month or so. My brake discs are starting to show evidence of corrosion and a slight juddering under hard braking, 12K miles on the clock. My question is what alternatives to OEM replacements are out there that are compatible with the OEM (blue) calipers? The car doesn't get tracked and I intend to keep it for another 2 years.
Did you buy it recently?
I had discs changed due to vibration under the AUC warranty on my M140, was over 3 years old but I did need to push them a bit. Mileage was 25k IIRC.
My current M4 is on 46k original discs and the specialist that services it says the discs are fine still. It's having pads next week and queried doing the discs too but they said they're in good nick so no point.
Worst case they say no, but they might at least offer you some goodwill towards replacements.
