LPA, too many attorneys?
Discussion
We are about to set-up a LPA for my mother. There are six children, does having this many attorneys make decision making difficult, mainly concerned about the finance decisions, if we need to approach a bank for instance, will they need authority from all attorneys? I really want to avoid having to send letters and forms around to get 6 signatures etc.
Would it be better just to have two of us?
Anyone got any experience of this?

Make all 6 as attorneys but get the LPA written that only 2 are required for certain decisions etc. Would it be better just to have two of us?

I have 3 siblings, we need 2 signatures for anything over £5k.
In some dealings the other party will attempt to get all 4 but if they can't reach all 4, will settle for 2.
I believe you can have numbers acting jointly and severally although 6 seems unworkable if jointly.
You can also have different numbers on the Health one as opposed to the Financial /Property one.
For my Mother my wife and I act can both act if needed as my sister lives abroad but she happens to be a Doctor so for anything Health would always speak to her in advance.
I hold LPA for my Aunt also with my wife and have acted for her over the last few years since she sadly went into a home and frankly needing 6 people to agree would have made it impossible.
