Anyone tried to match them?

Missed two. Both at Schipol..... Made check in on time, still in the lounge when they both left...KLM are very accomodating though.
Have got the point of refused more Vino more times than I care to mention though....

Have a mate who was allowed to stay in the toilet vomiting during landing as he had 'overdone it' a bit on a longhaul flight

3 mates & I managed to drink all the booze on the plane on a flight to the Dubai 7's. Unfortunately they didn't expect many people on the flight & we only managed about 10 stubbies each before they ran out.

When I used to work in Rotterdam there was a competition among some of the guys to see how many cans they could get through. The difficult bit was getting the beer off the hostesses as the serving time was only about 20 minutes. One guy managed 12 cans by bribing one of the stewardesses but he chundered when he got off the plane & the guys from customs decided to wind him up a bit too.

After the Plymouth Dakar run, and a lot of Gambian Guinness (heavy shit), my mate declared his undying love for a particularly filthy looking hostess. I myself mentioned selling a kidney for 5 minutes of pleasure with her. However, we were not coarse or humourless with our request.

I'd always believed that Rod Marsh held the record.

Perhaps thats why the Aussies are so good at team sport. They play hard together. England haven't sat on top of the cricket world since the days of Botham, Lamb, Gower etc.. Proper party animals.

Been there. Done that. Only Singapore Airlines to Aus via Singers.

Lord those Singaporean Air Hostesses are beautiful. And generous with the booze if you look like you're behaving yourself...

About 8 double vodkas flying to Atlanta about 4 months after 9/11. Flight was nearly empty so Shoebag abd I had lots of vodkas and the attendents were happy to serve us as they had so few passengers on the flight.

I drank a load of vodka at the departure lounge in Miami waiting for a flight

Flying from Heathrow to JFk a few years ago on Concorde, I ordered the Chateaubriand.
Unsure which wine to order to accomopany the meal I asked the helpful steward for his reccomendation.
For a few minutes he explained the characters of a '73 La Tour and a '75 Neuf du pape.....Not being familiar with such fine vintages he could tell I was unsure...so he bought a bottle of each and left me to it!

On subsequent visits and other transatlantic business travel I never drunk anything but apple juice on an aircraft since.

Was refused booze as soon as we walked onto a flight from Riga to Heathrow after a particulalry messy stag weekend. We drank the departure lounge dry of sambucca and vodka, and apparently the bar had phoned the plane to warn them of our 'over-exhuberance' with the booze...

..so we had to make do with the 'essence of Absinthe' that we took with us.

And yes, I was woken up mid-flight by a 'friend' dribbling this green grimness into my open gob. It's about 70%, I think - and NOT a particularly nice way to be woken up.

A friend was kicked off a plane from NZ to England for getting too lashed on the flight. I think they chucked him out in Singapore, where he was held for hours and hours until he was sober enough to catch another flight. It cost him rather a lot, too.
