Hi all
Anyone have any experience of an inflatable SIB.
I'm looking at getting one for pottering about in harbours / esturies this year.
I think I've narrowed it down to 3, the Excel Volante 330, Seapro 340 air deck and Honwave 32
Any thoughts or alternatives. I don't want to pay much more than £1100 if at all possible.
Outboards are a different question but I'm mostly interested in the boat for now.
Cheers

Either of your 3 choices would do for pottering around in harbours/estuaries as you will be speed limited so a rigid hull is less important. I believe your selections all have inflatable floors and an inflatable keel plus they are made using Hypalon rather than PVC material so will be a better quality?
Weight and size when packed could be important, although you don't say how you plan to transport the SIB to the launch site, and how many helpers you have to carry it?
FWIW, I have a Lodestar UL250 which I carry on my boat as a tender, and even that weighs 25kg and I don't lug that around too often on my own!

ETA: Even in a slight chop you and your passengers may get a little wet in the bottom dept. if you sit on the tubes (most people do), as SIB's don't have a hull shape to prevent the water from curling over the tubes at sub-planing speed! The larger diameter tubes are therefore the better bet...
