Cayenne crash - buying it back - advice required
Discussion
Hi All,
We purchased a gorgeous Cayenne in Australia, shipped it back to UK. Had it on road 9 days before we crashed it!
It was collected from crash site on tow and we've purchased car back.
However once it was delivered to our home, it has SO MUCH more damage that what was caused by accident. Car wouldn't even start!!
Thankfully hubby is qualified Porsche mechanic so we are in safe hands but my question is, how can we go about dealing with this situation. They've caused damage that wasn't required. It was our property while in their care.
We've held off talking to them because the car wouldn't even start, the battery is dead, so hopefully once charged it will be ok.
Gera stick was ripped apart and damage to the passenger door
Anyone been in this situation or have any great advice please shout!

Sorry to hear this. If you have had to buy it back, how could it be your property? Did the insurance company settle and then you bough it back? If so, might be tricky to pursue as it wasn't always yours. We purchased a gorgeous Cayenne in Australia, shipped it back to UK. Had it on road 9 days before we crashed it!

Sorry to hear about the crash. You really should’ve contacted them straightaway. Presumably you took photos of the damage when they returned the car, you can compare them to the photos you took on the day of the accident. Should be fairly straightforward from there.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
