Hi there, I am thinking of buying this 2014 used suv it only has 65k km on it, and it is an okay price
With rust on the wheel housing, would I run into problems because of it if I do purchase it like that?
Thanks
Well, the main thing is to see if any of that rust has spread to the main structure of the vehicle, and in particular the suspension mounts; also check the MOT history. If it has spread, walk away. If not, as the mileage is sensible, run the car for a few months and see how you like it. If so, visit a small local body shop and get a quote to tidy up the wheel arches. The rust is likely to return but that way you would be buying time .With rust on the wheel housing, would I run into problems because of it if I do purchase it like that?

Well, it has rust on the underneath as well.
it is too far to visit myself, they'd be delivering it.
I also have pictures but wasn't able to upload them here sadly.
I guess if there is rust underneath I probably shouldn't bother? The price is reasonable for it only have 65k km but that makes me wonder why it is that price now.
