Which cheap car?

I'm on the look out for a cheap hatchback as a run around, these are my criteria:

Cheap tax <£30 a year
Cheap to buy < £1500
Good mpg > 50+ mpg
Cheap to maintain
Cheap to insure
4 wheels
4 seats
ULEZ exempt is a bonus

I basically have a very impractical, performance car so need to balance out cost and practically with the above

A quick Auto trader search comes up with a few options:

Toyota Aygo
Citroën C1
Peugeot 107

Would be interested in alternative suggestions!

VW Up!/SEAT Mii/Skoda Citigo are much more pleasant than the PSA based ones mentioned already (have experience with all them as loaners etc, currently have an Up! as a cheap temp, but will probably stay as a 2nd car).

No hope for £1500, probably need at least double if not treble that amount. Don't forget these sort of cars are massively in demand at the moment for people trying to save money.

I missed the 1500 quid bit, tbf I wouldn’t want any car for that sort of money with current prices, they are going to be either complete sheds or cars no wants due to high running costs (tax, fuel, servicing, insurance etc).
