Re-bushing suspension.

Morning . Has anyone had *ALL* the suspension bushing replaced.??? Looking underneath, several of the rear arms/ suspension links look like they need new bushes.. Rough idea of cost, what type are best to fit, who can supply them.?? I will be replacing the front wishbones within the next 6 months as well. Any advice welcome.Cheers, Steve.
I think there are 27 bushes in total, including both roll bars. Probably looking for £250 in parts for poly bushes.
I'm about to start doing the whole car this weekend, probably take the rest of the month of weekends and evenings. The trouble with bushes is that while one might take 15mins to remove the next could be a right bugger and take 2hours.

I have unfortunately had to replace all the bushes on the car and the costs are as follows:
Rear anti roll bar bushes 9.40 + 41.25 labour
Top Diff bushes 10.40 + 330.00 labour
Wishbone bushes 261.00 + 880.00 labour
Have had to get the work done by Tower View as do not have the time or facilities to fit myself. (Also have heard some of them can be a bugger to get off - hence a labour intensive job). At least the new ones will last well as are better than the original parts!!

He has just got some dogs twitchers poly bushes. You probably want to do the diff bushes at the same time a sthe rear wishbone bushes.

£140.28+vat from Joospeed, I'm sure if he's not doing them at the moment Peninsular will be able to help out, they supplied my Poly diff Bushes at about the same price as Jools was doing them for but he had none in stock...
I think you will find that Jools has switched over to the Powerflex bushes and they will be ready early next week, available from Jools and me.
I did mine with a set from Joospeed though I thought the red ones were supposed to be the wrong density for road use (?), I used blue and black.
Anyway, a bit of a bugger of a job. Pressing out the inner steel tubes and rubbers was easy, getting the larger tube out was something else. I used a hydraulic press in the end though others on here swear by the hacksaw method. On reflection I'd agree with them.

Talking a man's car here... with man's wishbones... with man's bushes...
A lot of the cost is the removal of the wishbones in the first place and then setting the geometry and everything back up. The wishbone design is very different from that of the Chims and IIRC don't come with bushes in the first place. There are an awful lot of them as well!

We've done every bush on the car about two months ago,if you don't have access to a good hydraulic press then to be honest you will struggle.If you are going to use rubber bushes then you should also fit the new type of spacers.Speak to Jim at harrogate horseless,top man.Cheers and good luck
