BT Broadband & Connection Dates

We have just exchanged contracts to move house. New house has BT Full Fibre installed...I would like to carry on with BT Full Fibre effective from our moving date (11/5). BT website says the earliest connection date is 18/5.
Is there any solution to getting an earlier activiation date bearing in mind all of the gubbins is already there?
I'll be WFH so really need the broadband working on moving day, and that's not to mention having to explain to Child 1 that we don't have the internet, and watch his world collapse :-)
Tried to call and been on hold for 30 mins....

This. I've moved numerous times in the last 15 years (3 permanent homes + a variety of rentals during the builds) and BT Openreach were the biggest PITA. Every. Single. Time.It's like there's some sort of law to make you wait 2/3/4 weeks.
Utter tossers.
