We have a 2005 Honda FR-V on 130k miles, no other electrical issues, usually very reliable. The front passenger window has stopped working, it will not operate from either the passenger door mounted switch or the master panel of four switches on the driver's side.

Fuse checked: all OK. Fuse swapped with the working driver's side to confirm that, still fails to function whereas the driver's does, so I know the fuse in the 'bad' circuit is good.

Next suggested check is the relay: I don't even know where this is? There is a box of relays under the bonnet, but none are labelled.

Otherwise I guess this is a wiring issue or needs a new motor which comes as part of the regulator. Used ones are available for just over 20 quid on eBay but it looks a bit of a faff to do it. Just wonder if I'm missing anything obvious before going all in to do that?

These are great reliable cars generally, but because they don't tend to attract DIYers there is very little online information about them unfortunately.

The window is unlikely to be controlled by relays.

You basically need to get a multimeter out to follow the 12v from the switch to the window until you find the missing voltage, or the root of the issue, which could obviously also be the motor, or the wiring.

You could try swapping the switches (if you do, I would start at the passenger side) for known good ones, but personally, I would be testing first.
