It’s actually 19 years old - Jamie Theakston (2003–2006) presented it then it was canned until today. As a lover of Its a Knockout this is as near as I can get.

Used to enjoy SUPERSTARS on the BBC.
There have been various bashes at ‘celebrity’ diving, ice skating,
Ski jumping & other Winter sports... So might give it a go on catchup

NB: I think that we are overdue for a driving / racing based series though.
(Might have to regurgitate a few old ideas... but never mind)

There was one on Sky I think. Probably 10 years ago or more.

Was at Silverstone. I worked on it but don't remember the details.

David Coulthard was one of the pros.

I also worked on a horse jumping one called.....wait for it.

Not forgetting learning Circus acts as well.
Many years ago, the good ‘ol BBC had a series where a professional driver & a proper celeb teamed up & had to drive all sorts of vehicles... see to remember Derek Bell & Murray Walker in a tank.
We need a programme like this... oh, not forgetting Rallysprint as well.

It was 'The Race' on Sky One. Back in 2006.

We worked on the daily evening round up show set in the pit lane at Silverstone with Ian Lee and Denise Van Outen as the presenters.
