I got to use the car as planned for the first time in several years
I was at the Ring this Easter, but only managed three laps on the second of two days, this was initially because of a failed starter motor, and secondly because of a diff that started leaking
The previous time was the August Bank Holiday, and I managed the same number of laps because the gearbox blew third gear halfway round the first live lap
Time before that was the catastrophic floods in July, so people here had much more important things to deal with than our cancelled track days
Time before that was October 2020, and my clutch pressure plate failed as I was leaving home, so at least I got to swap cars and enjoy the track day in the 928
Time before that was August Bank Holiday 2020, and my clutch slave seized about 30 miles from the Nurburgring, so I had to fly home and have the car recovered
Time before that was July 2020, the first day was quite damp, so I did very few laps, but the second day was dry and I immediately boiled the brake fluid, which I'd forgotten to change, but I did get half a day's driving after that was done
Time before that was June 2019, the oil pump seized on the way to the Ring, fortunately we'd only got as far as the M25, so again, after being recovered, we swapped cars and went in the 928
However, everything went perfectly yesterday, I did as many laps as I intended, I had enough confidence the car to book some coaching, which was great
I gave a couple of people PAX laps, and also got a PAX lap with a friend who was on my first trip to the Ring many years ago, and also got a PAX lap in an incredibly impressive Lamborghini
The track day itself was quite eventful, which is unusual for a DN Event, a few red flags, and very sadly a car fire as well

your above "description" let me really think to sell my Cerb b4 i will use it.....i have never driven it until now since my purchase 2 years ago (time is my biggest enemy), but it already let me down 3 times, always when it was ready to be mot-ed.I was at the Ring this Easter, but only managed three laps on the second of two days, this was initially because of a failed starter motor, and secondly because of a diff that started leaking

Worth bearing in mind that the Ring is guaranteed to find the weak point in any carAdmittedly I didn't always manage to get there before the issues surfaced, but it's pretty much all I use the car for
Also, the car was definitely a 'project' and I have spent my entire ownership dealing with deferred maintenance issues
I've also had to deal with a number of 'user error' issues as well, such as the seized oil pump (due to a pressure relief spring fragment)
So I can't blame the car for everything, nevertheless, this does hold true

Back again, and the car did great, very pleased indeed
I'm really starting to appreciate how good the Nitrons are, and coupled with a rebuilt diff the traction out of corners is much more than I'm used to, really impressed

Lovely stuff, have you ever thought of sprinting/hill climbing? I think that may be the way I go in a few years. I'm really starting to appreciate how good the Nitrons are, and coupled with a rebuilt diff the traction out of corners is much more than I'm used to, really impressed

GT6k used his Cerb for hill climbing, he helped me with the fittings for the removable harnesses that I've fitted, and most recently after selling his car he gave me a bunch of spares - very generous indeed (I did send some money to H4H to show my appreciation)Not sure I'll go that way myself, but who knows

Your driving was well worth watching, used all the track and gave it beans plus some
Brilliant video Mr, seems to be a case of all or nothing with you and you certainly do seem to give it all
