Beats Fit Pro v AirPod Pro versus ?

I have a set of airpod pros which I like - good comfy fit, decent sound and noise cancelling and work well with my Apple devices

Unfortunately my son seems to have claimed them as his own so I’m looking to get another pair

Before I get the AirPods, are there any better options that will connect well with my Apple kit? I had thought about the Beats given they are the same internally as the AirPods

I also own the sony wx1000xm3 which are ok but I find them a bit uncomfy and the fall out far more that the Airpods

I think the Beats are not quite as good as the AirPods pros, if my vague recall is correct. Air Pros are amazing, I'd just buy another set - or wait until the upgraded ones appear (no idea when, but perhaps by this autumn?)

I was thinking of waiting for the new AirPod pros but I’ve a few holidays coming up so ideally wanted to sort before then
