ABS pump DB9

Hi there unfortunately I need to purchase a DB9 ABS pump, could anyone assist me with the best place to get one, also the exact part number for a 2004 DB9 Pump.

I would try and get all the numbers off the old one because you may find its common to some lesser expensive brand and more readily available.

I would laugh at the fact if that was the case, or could it be I purchased a DB9 as I have always wanted one, I have had a bit of bad luck with her, but I am making sure that no stone is left unturned , I want it perfect in every way so if it means I go new with everything then so be it as I am well into it now.

Also if I ever do sell it I know 100% that the buyer would be getting a great car that has had everything to the smallest detail replaced upgraded .

PS spoke to Aston works and they have confirmed that the issue is as aa result of the brakes being bled the electronics need resetting / adapted.

Does that need AMDS? If so it means that only an AMDS-equipped garage can change the brake fluid...

I suspect that depends on the method of fluid change. I would think the valves in the pump block would only need actuating electronically if air were to be introduced into the system. If the good old fashioned system of one-wheel-at-a-time, starting from the furthest away, and the up-down-up-down pedal actuation whilst the bleed screws are opened and closed system, whilst keeping the reservoir topped-up then I see no reason the air could enter the system, or the pump block needing to be cycled.

That is most certainly the case with the BMW system.
