In the office today for the first time in 2 weeks.

PH is blocked!!!! WTF!

Was a real struggle getting through the day….even did some work at one point.

Anyone else blocked?

Ph is no problem, but my work have just blocked the category 'advertisement'. Which is a real pisser because any company that has paid to be on Google is blocked! So plenty of legitimate things are blocked now.

They do quite often manage to categorise and block sections of their own company pages as well though.

PH works for me and we are quite heavily restricted. Anything with forum tends to be blocked. Luckily PH call it gassing!

Start asking awkward questions about which sites the IT Department are denied access to and it may be unblocked for you

I worked in a company that once blocked BBC because it was transfer deadline day and the blokes in the office refreshed the page so much they thought a bot was attacking the server

We used to have Facebook, Instagram and YouTube blocked at work. Quite ironic really as our corporate email signature included links to the company Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

I remember PH being blocked one day when I got into work - horror! It mysteriously started working again later in the day. I can only assume that someone in networks is a PHer. FB, youtube, twitter, reddit etc all work fine. But I try to get on some forum for, say, some Java programming information and boom! It's blocked!
