Is this a standard Porsche colour?

not exactly a lot to go on but I would hazard a guess that the car in the pic is Horizon Blue. Which I think is indeed a standard colour. As to wether it was standard on the car in the pic , who knows. However paint matching from an internet picture is not an exact science.
Hmmm, had a look at eporsche and they have an horizon blue 964 that looks more like a light blue/grey.
Take your point about the guess work involved in just one picture. Just liked the colour and wanted it to my prefered colour list.
Marine Blue ? Old 930 colour ?
That doesn't look like Marine blue to me (my last 3.2 was Marine blue, and had a lot more green in it than the car shown here). Can't help with what it might be though.
I don't know but in the early 1990's, Porsche ran a colour match to sample service - which makes it difficult to determine whether an odd - coloured Porsche has the original paint or not.
i thought it was cobalt blue - a not uncommon (and standard) 964 colour. but as you all rightly say, depends on camera, lighting, and monitor
