Can't gel with new car grrrrr

Is there anything specific that you don’t get on with? Seat position or ergonomics?
Maybe you should try and give it a bit longer before selling without hopefully losing too much money.
Once had a Vectra as a company car and could not get comfortable in it no matter how hard I tried - saving Grace was that I knew I would only have it for 6 months and in the end it was changed after only 4 months.

Same as myself. I have bought cars before that I loved on the test drive but hated after a longer run once bought, Wife once worked out I could have bought the house next door with the amount of money I 'wasted' buying cars I didnt likeI’ve had this with a number of cars. Cost me a bloody fortune.

I actually wish i knew what it is i don't like about it...I see it out on the driveway and think why did i buy that.
I dislike the push button start,the keyless entry and the machine polished wheels which are all things i knew it had but these things seem to be the norm on new cars nowadays.
I think it's a number of niggly things that all add up...
I know this feeling. Had a DB7 just really didn’t enjoy, and it went within a year. Meanwhile, other cars, like my current 991, just grow on you and the more you drive them, the more you like them.
Hard to put your finger on what or why, perhaps a mix of the driving experience vs how you like to drive, whether the design and materials appeal, and the undefinable sense of whether it “feels like your car”. But no fighting it, if it isn’t right, it has to go.

I’ve got a Duster in Comfort spec and 1.0 LPG that I have driven nearly 30k miles in 15 months. I genuinely love it. The engine is hysterical (when I remember how small it is). LPG saves me a fortune and I quite enjoy stirring the cogs. I drive it up kerbs, onto verges, through mud and flooded roads and it just deals with it all.
Here’s the rub though I got it at 5 months old for £11200.00. Every day I pinch myself at what great value it is. Your auto Prestige is about £20k? At that point it would lose its appeal to me.

If its just for family duties and you still plan to buy a fun car I'd be inclined to let it be the mundane a-b car. Doesn't have to be exciting or thrilling. I ran a Discovery 2 for 11 years and genuinely loved that car. Replaced it with head over heart decision, meant that instead of the Discovery 4 I really wanted I made the sensible decision and went for a Freelander 2. Had it 4 1/2 years now and it has really grown on me. It is just a fantastically practical small 4x4 and 90% of the journeys its just me anyway. I suspect a Duster would be an equally capable if not thrilling choice. If there was a 2 litre diesel 4x4 version available I'd consider one as well.
