I've just bought myself a blender (the cheapest one I could find in Argos - £11.99 :)) to mix up my protein shakes. Having never owned such a device before, I wonder if anyone can advise me of any other exciting uses for it?

Soups, Pesto, Hummus, Milkshakes, Smoothies etc. Good for chopping herbs too, but herbs have to be in liquid
