Mwhahahaha :))

Faaaaaaaaaaantastic. Burbles wondrfully.
Driving position a little cramped, Ill adjust the peddle box and be able to stretch out.

Steering wheel off centre. Ill have them sort that pdq.

Already had my first smile. Stopped at lights in Tunbridge Wells and a bloke walks across in front of me, looking at the car, smiling and saying she looks nice. Indeed she does Sir :)

This thing, well frankly it isnt just the dogs danglies, it sucks the dog's dangly bits while doing a one legged polker !

Okay....so....you'll be wanting to put some miles on her....

It's the Mid Essex Meet on Sunday 14th..........
What about bringing her up to see us...so that we can see her........

Course....we get to meet you too.....

i don't know whether that's good or not

And I have a digital camera and will take lots of pics.....you might even make Sprint.....
But you will have to share the drive with a Midas Gold and a Spectre Flair......and a few other TVRs!!!

YP...you know my thoughts regarding TVRCC meets. If I happily resist the lure of nick and his Kent meets, Im sure I can manage to avoid Essex. I have no wish to be in Sprint either.

As for driving her, well the gf and I are off to gatcomb today. Back upto Blackpool in the next cpl of weeks to see family, friends and Simon from Carbon Cans. Im sure I can put 100-200 miles on her pootling around over the next cpl of weeks normally and that gives me my 1000-1200 miles before the first service, then out to France for Bank Hol week.

Okay you unsociable br...

If you're off with the girlfriend on long journeys remind her that there is a sneaky air vent under the glove box.....it's one I missed until Pits was kind enough to point it out.
Locks your knee joints in place if the air con is on though

Have fun.......

You really want to take your head out of your arse David - plenty of people on here have extended the hand of friendship despite your arrogant attitude.

PH is a great place to meet like minded people - be they into the club thing or not. There was no SE London region to speak of before PH came on the scene & though this medium the locals got to know each other & have become great friends over the last few years.

Enjoy your car, & we will continue to enjoy ours without the pleasure of your company.

I have no interest in the social side of TVR ownership. I really did think Id made that quite clear. I enjoyed driving the Griff and I enjoy driving the Sagaris. Techy answers have been provided when I asked and Ive happily said my thanks. Pretty simple all round.

Having read a couple of this guys posts its a mystery to me why any of you nice people would have the slightest interest in actually meeting him.

Lost me there Im afraid.

YP wanted to know what it is like and Pits and I have had a running discussion about the merits or not of the Sagaris. I was, therefore, informing them of my delight in the car and probably giving Pits a damn good chuckle considering our previous positions and opinions regarding the car.

Now.....C'mon guys.......let's play nicely.....

We all know that DJC's post are to the point, techy and aggressive.....

Mine on the other hand are lily livered, non techy and....well.....friendly.........

It's a balance (see my profile )...and as long as P/H has that ...it's fine.

A lot of people have enjoyed his technical stuff......we just have to take his more outrageous remarks and bury them in a deep hole ...

Now...it seems like I'm defending him.....and we all know that he can speak for himself........but he is a Sagaris owner and I like to read any opinions about the car.......so...let's all be friends...whad'ya say!!!!

Agressive me, YP?
Either way, back to the subject in hand. Had to giggle to myself today, a friend arranged to come over at lunch and go and have a look at the car outside the office. Come lunchtime and about 10 other guys also stood up and trooped down to letch over the poor girl, including an ex Tuscan owner. Felt like the Pied Piper!
Ive only told a cpl of guys in the office I was getting one at all and apparently it had become an urban legend, a cpl of the guys came along just to see whether the rumours were true!

This car generates interest like a White House intern. It's kinda strange, a little embarrasing, quite funny and Im not entirely comfortable with it yet. I suspect you are a little more outgoing than me, Im hoping the interest will die down soon. It does however, confirm that the interest level in this car is absolutely massive and TVR very much have another legend on their hands. The public *love* this car.

Agreed. I'm glad you've finally got your hands on the car and that you're enjoying it so much. As you may remember from my earlier threads I had a similar experience and wondered whether the t350 was a little more 'me' and a little less flash. But having got to know my 'GRIS and worked out that the attention is almost entirely positive I've decided the other plus points of the car far outweigh the downsides.

Having owned a few flash cars before I know that it is by no means usual to get such a positive reaction. In fact someone even shouted 'w*nker!' at me in a lowly Honda S2000! Maybe I can't hear all the abuse over the raucous S6 but it doesn't seem to rub people up the wrong way. Not quite sure why because it's as subtle as a punch in the nose but I'm not complaining. I even got the thumbs up from a couple of knobs in an M3 the other day. That's a first I know but I just thought 'why don't you sausage-eating tight arsed sheep buy one if you like it so much?' Oh how I wish it was run-in that day....

For those that don't 'get' DJC, can't you see he's enjoying winding you up? If you get your knickers in a twist you just make his day, and quite a few other people by the look of it. Some of his posts have been forwarded on beyond pistonheads! I never knew we had such sensitive types driving TVR's! After all 'internet baiting' will be a recognised national sport soon.

For the record I didn't buy a Sagaris to bring it to 'meets' either. Driving it down empty roads is more my kind of thrill than doing the 'big I am' and drawing a crowd at a meet. But I also see nothing wrong with doing that if that's your thing and perhaps I should try one before deciding they aren't for me? I always wave at other TVR owners (yes even Chimeras!) and I hope to pass a Sagaris or two on the road someday soon (it hasn't happened yet!). Expect to see a bloody great thumbs up from me and plenty of lights flashing. Even if it is DJC!
