Audi A5 Sportback 2020 - bumper damage VWFS

Hi all,

Stupidly reversed car into a tree today - literally no excuse with rear camera but it’s done now.

Below are the pics of the damage, I’m concerned about the vertical dent/creasing. I’m not sure what damage this would be classed as. If it is not classed as excessive damage I will probably just leave it and take the hit. But what I am concerned about is if it is classed as excessive damage , and if so I will probably get it repaired my self in case they charge a replacement price.

The VWFS says cracked

Thats clearly cracked

Ask Audi how much for a replacement and there's your answer

Vwfs are very fussy about damage so will definitely need that sorting before sending it back.

I wouldnt bother sorting it - a bad repair will be picked up and you will be charged by VWFS anyway.

Just accept the damage penalty when it goes back.
