Hi all, I'm looking for a daily watch, something as close to a Victorinox I.N.O.X as possible but cheaper. Looking to spend under £200, below £100 would be even better. Needs to be pretty robust as its likely to get bashed about a lot, although I don't mind if it ends up looking a bit bashed up as long as it works. I'd really like something that looks like the Victorinox, with bonus points for any green orange or maybe camo details. I would also be open to something completely different if its a tough watch. I've considered a G-shock but not so keen on digital watches and thought about maybe a Timberland but they might be a bit form over function. My current watch is a Timex allied tide temp and I really like it so would consider another Timex, but would be nice to have something different. Over to the experts, cheers!

UPDATE - in the end I bought one, replied with pic and details

I just googled seiko5 and chose the one which was green and orange.
They come in a variety of colours and prices.
Often recommended on the ‘under£200 watch’ thread .

Not that familiar with them either - Drooles is your man for that - but having looked into them they do look nice for the money with a lovely titanium finish. I was interested in the white dial version of the one I linked to but it then went back to full price so I held off.

That one is definitely a good price

These are pretty good, just lacks the sapphire crystal (if thats important) £150

Or for £40 over this is the nearest you will get to an Inox, and very highly rated.

Quite like second one but it seems pricey, would consider it if somewhere offered a big discount

I’m really happy with my Boldr. It’s a great little watch - titanium so light, well finished, keeps good time. But it is small - much smaller than an INOX - so that might put you off

Thought I’d post this as another alternative. Citizen Eco Drive and, if I remember correctly, it was around £100 from Argos! It keeps good time and it’s my go to ‘spare’ watch for camping as it’s good for timing barbecues and it never goes flat - that means I can set my automatic by it if it stops

Edited to add: It’s on an aftermarket NATO - it came on a nice canvas strap but the NATO suits what I use it for

If it’s going to genuinely have a hard life, go cheap, Quartz and Casio.

My brothers works on building sites and surfs a lot, he wears one of these £19.99 Argos specials:

If that’s too fussy, this is £14.99:

I've bought several INOX watches in the past year or two and have only paid a max of £160 brand new, two came from TK Maxx and one came from Ebay.

You can buy them much cheaper than RRP
