Anyone bought from these? Offering i7, 8mb, 1.0TB SSD, 15.6 inch screen for £370. No software but still looks a good price. I'm tempted, but would like to know it's not a scam.

Never heard of them before but looking at the site and the small print they appear to resell refurbished chasis' updated to meet the configurator spec - seems overpriced IMO for that.

Does not say which version, and they are refurbished, but I'm still tempted. Looks like a good spec for the money. Or is there somewhere cheaper?

Not knowing the base machine leaves too many unknowns, personally I'd rather pay a bit more and know exactly what I am getting.

Other places offer refurbs, but you know what the machine is, eg:

https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/refurbished-hp-250...

https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/nav/pt/laptops/scr...

Plenty of other refurb companies out there, just using laptopsdirect as an example as I've bought lots of kit from them in the past.

Also used SVP several times:

https://www.svp.co.uk/computing/laptops.html

Most of their stuff is ex-display / ex-demo models, everything I've bought from them has been unmarked.

My seven year old laptop with 8Gb of ram is still going strong, but if I was replacing it today I'd be looking at 16Gb.

Have you tried the Dell outlet? I have bought a couple of refurbished laptops from there and they have both looked like brand new.

This laptop is £366 with an additional 12% off

https://outlet.euro.dell.com/Online/SecondaryInven...

It has an 11th Generation i3 but this will easily outperform an older i7 (depending on which generation it is obviously)
