So a leggy and ratty Focus that's never seen by this online dealer, unwashed, no guarantee unless you splurge for their warranty wise nonsense and no haggling on the price. I'm not sure what business practice that is but I hope it doesn't catch on..
The very least with that you'd give the local car was guys £25 to have a quick go round it and maybe find some black paint for the wheels! That's a £400 car at best. I think someone's taking the proverbial with Covid pricing.

Have another, I looked at this and thought it's probably worth about £500 on a great day. Even at that price I'd pass to be honest.
A fair amount time and money needs to go into that to get it looking decent, and then what have you got at the end of it? A somewhat high mileage Saxo VTR.

I'm not sure the car the OP posted is even the worst one from that dealer, possibly not even in the bottom 3, at least half of them should be sent to Porton Down for analysis. Looking at that collection of dreck I'm glad I got out of shedding when I did, sod having to sift through that sort of dreck if you've only got a few grand to spend.
I appreciate that a lot of sellers are just chancing it with ridiculous prices, but that dealer is just comedic! They also have a Clio and a Corsa, both 1.2s, that are a mere 21yrs old each an are asking £1.9k and £1.8k respectively. For cars that pre-pandemic were almost worthless. I hope they never sell any cars - are people REALLY buying stuff like this?
There are still some sensibly priced cars around where I live (private sales). Couple of examples below with the LS400 actually looking a steal at the current times and the Corsa looking great value for a first car. I have no attachment to either.

And just in case any further confirmation is required, the 'where this car can be viewed' takes you to a terraced street in Leicester which is clearly not the location of the photographs of the car on the site- so who owns it?

Agreed, shedding is certainly not what it used to be. I managed to buy my current shed at 10 years old and 61K miles five years ago for £1200. That was just the going rate for older cars back then.Now you would need at least £5K to buy something even remotely similar. £1200 effectively gets you the sort of rubbish shown in this thread that should just be weighed in.
