Why does this site seem to attract the most time wasters ?
I Have tried numerous times at buying a vehicle on there and for one reason or another the seller had pulled out or made some excuses why they are not selling now .
Last 5 or 6 attempts didn’t work out with the time wasters , eBay is full of rubbish overpriced junk as well .some of the cheap projects seems to be stuff that people collect for scrap money then make them look much better than they actually are .

Pretty much exactly my conclusion after trying to deal with many different people so not a one off experience...the other day i was supposed to be getting a car as agreed then at the last minute seller came up with some odd story they need the car now due to unforeseen family reasons but I could see straight through that one and someone just offered more for it .hardly a family car anyway with only 2 seats lol .

They often don’t provide a phone number either and so just selectively decide why they will contact.

I was enquiring about another car on there today (only went on this morning) no response at all to email /phone then next thing the add is removed .maybe a lot of it is some sort of scam and they never have the car like when people are asking if your items are available ?

Probably because they're sick of buyers who have no intention of buying asking stupid questions. It's a soul destroying place to buy or sell a car and eBay is no different.

eBay is a slightly better .although you have to wade through loads of fake adds and overpriced utter rubbish that would never be worth sorting out and putting back on the road .a lot of the classic cars on eBay are just dealers who source them at auction then double the price and don’t have to do much to them .
Then are the types who say it just needs x part £20 off eBay but then you have to wonder why they didn’t just fix it themselves then .
