I’ve looked at the Meater, but wanted to hear from someone who has used one.
@randlemarcus - is it accurate when enclosed in a domestic oven. Does the signal reach far enough?
Block within throwing distance of the probes, and then it goes all IoT, and you can watch the cook from Norway.@randlemarcus - is it accurate when enclosed in a domestic oven. Does the signal reach far enough?

That sounds pretty cool. Have you had good results with the actual roasts you’ve cooked? Not IoT which is not always a bad thing and not 100% wire free but we have one of these...

The specs suggest its accurate to a degree or two either way so maybe not the best but for £14.99 its takes the guess work out of things.
Is it as good as Meater? I doubt it but is it 5 times worse? Probably not.
