Was asking off from Toronto airport this week and noticed this plane that has been detained since the beginning the Ukraine conflict. Obviously not like the AN 225, but quite impressive. Apologies for the iPhone pics from my seat on the plane:

Who owns it? The writing has gone all squiggly.

One of the Volga-Dnepr(?) fleet based at Leipzig. I went past their apron a while ago...

Leipzig's also home to their Ukrainian brothers - I took a photo from my seat on the plane too wink

AN-225 was in Leipzig about a week before it was destroyed. I didn't take a photo at the time, thinking "I'll get one next time it's here" frown

I had a quote to charter an AN124 a few weeks ago.

was due to go from the UK to Cyprus carrying 95 tonnes of cargo.

Price was over £650K, but couldn't get the loading ramp in time so knocked it on the head and went with a different solution.
