So my car was prepped and ceramic coated by a third party detailer a day after delivery - this was a 18 months ago.

I have washed it regularly with the following products:

Bilt Hamber snow foam.
Gtechniq W1 G wash with two bucket and lambs wool mitt.
Gtechniq C2 liquid crystal spray to finish.

Always came up pretty good but now the wash and crystal spray ran out last week so I decided to experiment with other products.

Today after the final rinse I used CarPro Hydro2lite as instructed and then gave the car an open hose final douse. I am quite impressed as simply laying a drying towel on the surface after and lifting gave a very good finish, much easier and faster than using the C2 spray.

So it looks great but is there a further stage? any other products that I could use on top to give it an even better finish?

Sounds like you are doing the right thing in using a spray post wash to help it.

Make sure to clean the glass properly too so if that has ceramic on it then it can do its job,

I have to admit the open hose douse as a drying method is a genius tip and something I have never heard of before.

Dry the car with water, who would have thought it?

You just use the hose pipe with an open end, if your car beads fairly well it doesn’t seem to leave as much water on the surface for drying.
Try it for yourself, it does work!
