Can anyone tell me if my 4.5 oil level should be checked with the engine hot or cold. Would check in the manual but I'm in Germany with her at the moment and manual is at home.

Cold but i always find the best way is once parked up remove and clean the dipstick, leave overnight and check it in the morning.
