Changed gearbox oil now issues!

I have a old 307 1.6 petrol Pug with the tu5jp4 and infamous ma5 gearbox.

Was doing the nearside lower arm and due to the design of the short drive shaft and the fact it is free to fall out I decided to drain the box.

Refilled with the right spec "total 75/80W BV"

Now I occasionally when warm issues getting into 3rd and rarely 4th without double clutching.

When the car is properly hot this goes away, its also not an issue when cold.

The box has been rebuild about 30K or so ago but the paperwork doesn't say what they refilled it with.

No issues with change before though despite the box feeling much smoother the issue is annoying.

Any ideas?

Are you sure it's the right spec oil? Not just viscosity, but fluid type / additives as well? Synchos can be sensitive to fluid type.

Yup. VAG manuals literally won't cold shift properly if anything other than genuine gear oil is used.
