Nuisance car parking

There are double yellow lines at the top of our road which extend around onto the main road.

For the last 2 weeks a car has been parked close to the junction and on the yellow lines.

It has attracted 3 Penalty Charge Notices to date.

It's running a space saver spare wheel on its nearside front wheel.

Shows as being taxed and has an MOT. No idea about insurance.

It's making it difficult to exit on to the main road safely.

Anything the residents could do to get it moved? I believe that the Police don't deal with parking matters.

The Police will deal if it's left in a dangerous position but that isn't the same as being an inconvenience

It can’t hurt to report on the non-emergency number - let the police decide if it’s an obstruction.
I reported similar years ago, and to my surprise they had a word with the owner.

If it's blocking a dropped kerb at a junction then the Policeand/or council will usually get involved

Notified my local Councillor and this morning it had been moved..

To be honest it's a bit y of the Councillor to park it there in the first place.
