Stop/sale on 1 series

I have been waiting since last October for a new 1 series. The dealer phoned this morning to say my car was in the dealer but there was a stop sale on all 1 series. They said they are waiting to hear more.
Any one got any info on this?

No but it would be worth calling a few other dealers to check if it’s across the board.
